Hi Jamie!
Welcome to planDisney! Staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel adds so much convenience (
complementary transportation and
early theme park entry) and charm to your vacation, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is truly one-of-a-kind. With its stunning architecture, views of exotic animals roaming the savanna, and cultural details, you’ll feel immersed in an unforgettable experience from the moment you arrive.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge isn’t physically connected to
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and your resort stay doesn’t automatically include theme park admission. From what you’ve described, it sounds like you’ve purchased a vacation package, which combines your resort stay with theme park tickets. These tickets are typically date-based, meaning you won’t need to make additional theme park reservations, just show up on your scheduled days! Depending on the type of ticket you purchased, you can either visit one park per day or take advantage of the Park Hopper Option, where you can start in one park and hop to another, giving you the flexibility to explore as much as you’d like.
While you’re at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, be sure to enjoy everything the resort has to offer. One must-try is
Sanaa, a restaurant that combines flavors from Africa and India. The Indian-Style Bread Service is a standout dish, it comes with a selection of freshly baked naan and a variety of flavorful dips that will leave you planning your next visit before you’ve even finished the meal. And don’t miss out on the resort’s amazing pool and animal viewing opportunities, perfect for a relaxing day or evening.
I hope this helps, Jamie! If you’d like more vacation planning assistance, such as learning about the
Lightning Lane options or recommendations for my favorite dining spots in each park,
feel free to submit another question.
See you real soon!
