Hi Christina,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Breakfast at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is always a good idea. I have eaten at every dining location there, and I can’t choose a favorite! Enjoy that amazing lobby smell, the beautiful theming and views, and of course the delicious food.
My family often drives to Walt Disney World, and I have found myself in the exact situation you’re describing more than a few times. While it would be so wonderful to leave the car at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and hop on them monorail, Guests who are not staying at a particular resort may only
park for three hours while visiting and exploring. Having your car towed would not be magical, so please be sure to move your vehicle when breakfast is over.
Christina, my suggestion is to park at the resort during your breakfast, and then move your car to the Magic Kingdom Parking lot. When my family did this on a recent visit, my husband and daughter parked the car while my son and I took the monorail to Magic Kingdom Park. (You also have the option of taking the resort boat, which I just love to do.) My son and I arrived before they did, but we used the time to stop at a
PhotoPass photographer for some Magic Shots and wandered down Main Street, U.S.A. We actually had some great 1:1 time, which my kids both love when we are at Walt Disney World. My husband texted me when he and my daughter arrived, and we met up and started our magical adventure together.
Enjoy every bite of your breakfast at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Christina!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
