    Hi I'm staying at AKL at the end of August with my family. We've booked a few character meals, but kids are interested in breakfast at cape May Cafe at the Beach club. Is there direct transport from our hotel and are the characters only in beach attire at

    Hi Zainab!

    Cape May Cafe is a fun place to have breakfast and you will find the characters in beach attire.  Your question got cut off, but I believe you wanted to ask if you can find them in beach attire anywhere else in Walt Disney World.  If that is your question, then the answer is "no", as I can't think of anywhere else in Walt Disney World, though it does happen on a typical Disney Cruise.

    Unfortunately, there is no direct Disney transportation from the Animal  Kingdom Lodge, which is a wonderful hotel by the way.  That is typically the case at all of the Disney hotels.  To get to the Beach Club, you would first have to go to a theme park and then transfer to a bus going to the Beach Club.  Of course, another one is to simply take a taxi from the Animal Kingdom Lodge to the Beach Club.
