Hi! I’m going to stay in two different hotels on my next trip. I’d like to know if I can use buses and skyliner with my bags to change the hotel. Thanks 😊

    Hello Juliane!

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! I love the idea of switching to a new Disney Resort hotel during your visit. The theming of every hotel is so unique and immersive that a “split-stay” allows you to explore as much as possible!

Luggage of any kind is prohibited on the Walt Disney World Bus Service and Disney Skyliner. If you are transferring to a new Disney Resort hotel, I recommend dropping off your luggage at the Bell Services of your first resort and letting them know you’d like to transfer your luggage to your next Resort. Depending on the time you check out of your first Resort and drop off your luggage, you may not have your room number at your next hotel yet. It may also take a few hours for your bags to be transferred, so I recommend holding on to anything you might need during the day in a personal bag you will keep with you until you receive your luggage at the next resort.

I think this is good news, Juliane! You won’t have to worry about transporting your luggage yourself, and the friendly folks at Bell Services can use Disney magic to transfer your bags to the next location. I hope you enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World Resort! We’ll be here at planDisney if you have any more vacation planning questions!
