Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jon!
I'm also a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder, and am so grateful for all the
perks and benefits that come with that magical yellow card. There's nothing quite like knowing I can stop by and say hello to Mickey Mouse anytime I want!
I also love the Disney Dining Plan. My family enjoys the convenience of pre-paying for our meals and then intentionally building in a break in all the theme park bustle to sit down (in the air conditioning!), enjoy some delicious food and a cold drink (make mine an umbrella drink, please), and tell the tall tales of our pixie-dusted day.
The combination of an Annual Passholder and a Disney Dining Plan is practically perfect in every way, Jon, and I have good news: you should be able to call Guest Relations and add a
Disney Dining Plan to your room-only reservation. Just give a Cast Member a call at (407) 993-5277 (have your reservation number handy) and ask to add a Disney Dining Plan to your reservation. Because you're an Annual Passholder, you do have tickets, and should thus be eligible for a
Vacation Package including a Disney Dining Plan. Remember that if you have others on your reservation without an Annual Pass, they will all need tickets linked to the reservation before you'll be able to add the Disney Dining Plan.
October is a fantastic time to visit Walt Disney World, and between the spook-tacular Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival, and the brand-new Star Wars Galaxy's Edge, you are in for one amazing visit!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
