Welcome back to planDisney, Carlotta!
Staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is a game-changer for your Walt Disney World vacation. First off, you get the magic 24/7 with the incredible theming and unique experiences that make every moment special. Plus, you’re super close to the parks, which means you can hop in and out with ease, making those midday breaks a breeze. Another perk is the Early Theme Park Entry. As a Guest, you get to jumpstart your day with access to the parks before they officially open. And let’s not forget the convenience of
complimentary transportation—whether it’s a bus, monorail, or even a boat ride, getting around is hassle-free. Also, staying on-site gives you access to exclusive dining reservations and priority access to Lightning Lane selections.
Carlotta, I think all of the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels are kid-friendly—that’s their beauty! But if you are looking for a couple of suggestions to narrow your search, I’d be happy to provide you with my favorites from each hotel category (Deluxe Villa, Deluxe Resort, Moderate, Value).
Any resort in the Deluxe Villa category will offer Deluxe Studios (slightly larger rooms but with a kitchenette), and 1-, 2-, 3-bedroom options. The benefit to these accommodations is that you will have separate living and sleeping areas, a full kitchen, and in unit washer and dryer. Since my favorite Deluxe Villa resort is also in the Deluxe resort category, I will check both boxes with one recommendation:
Disney’s Beach Club Resort. In my opinion, the Beach Club has the best pool for you and your children.
Stormalong Bay features an amazing pirate ship waterslide, a lazy river, adult and youth hot tubs, and a sand bottom to immerse yourself in the beach vibe. Outside the pool deck is also Beaches & Cream Soda Shop for the most amazing milkshakes and desserts. Pools and ice cream are a kid's dream!
In the moderate category, I would suggest
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. This resort features five distinct islands in the spirit of the Caribbean and a zero-entry pool, Fuentes del Morro! You will have a tropical vacation atmosphere while enjoying The Most Magical Place On Earth, and the kids can also enjoy evening campfires and movies under the stars. Don’t forget the easy access to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios via the
Disney Skyliner!
Speaking of Skyliner, a quick sky-high ride away from the Caribbean Beach Resort is
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. This Value category hotel has the largest resort pool in Disney World, is Disney and Pixar movie-themed (Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid), and features Family Suites if you want more space. The Family Suites have a separate living and sleeping space, a kitchenette, and two bathrooms. It sounds like this may be the perfect fit for you and your family for your upcoming vacation!
Carlotta, I hope this set a course to find the perfect Disney Resorts Collection hotel and when it’s time to find a home, you'll know the way!
