Hi Steve! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
It's never too early to start planning a Walt Disney World vacation! With everything that goes into a trip, including resort accommodations,
park tickets, park reservations, and dining, you'll want to be fully prepared to make sure you have the best time during your stay. Traveling with a large group comes with its challenges, but having the entire family together for a magical trip sounds like a ton of fun!
Being that your group wants to stay together in one magical room, Walt Disney World offers the opportunity to do so at many of the
Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts. The Three-Bedroom Grand Villas will sleep up to twelve Guests and is equipped with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. There will be a full kitchen and common space, which will also serve as an additional sleeping area as needed. I have stayed in a two-bedroom villa on a multigenerational trip a couple of years back and we cherished the moments that we got to spend together each night returning from the parks. Instead of heading in separate directions at the end of the day, we were able to enjoy each other's company and discuss the fun adventures we had during the day. It was one of the best parts of the trip!
A few resorts to consider for this stay are The
Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Each is located on the monorail line and is just a short walk to the Magic Kingdom. I like the idea of these resorts when traveling with a large group since it gives everyone the flexibility to return back to the room easier when visiting certain parks.
Disney's Beach Club Villas is another great choice for a large family stay. The main pool, Stormalong Bay, is the perfect place to relax and spend some quality time with your family. You are also steps away from the International Gateway at EPCOT and a ride on the Disney Skyliner to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Steve, best of luck finding the perfect resort to accommodate your stay! I hope you and your family have a magical vacation! Stop back anytime to
planDisney with your planning questions!
See ya real soon!
