I'm just starting to look into the planning process, but I already have an off-site resort booked for our stay. What is the best way to plan what parks and activities we will do while we are there? We will be going to Walt Disney World in mid-July.

    Hi Carrie,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It sounds like you're off to a good start planning your Walt Disney World visit!

You can keep the planning momentum going by requesting Free Planning Videos. While I know you already have your accommodations all lined up, you can use the videos to get a fun view of the theme parks and all the attractions and entertainment, and you can also get to know all the fantastic dining experiences available.

I always recommend spending time with the Tickets & Visit Guide for pixie-perfect info designed for Guests with varied interests — first-time visitors, thrill seekers, families with little ones, adults, and food lovers. The Tickets & Visit Guide showcases popular attractions and special events. Be sure to look at the "Tips and Advice" from Disney Parks Moms Panelists.

You can find theme park Guide Maps at These Guide Maps, like the one for Magic Kingdom Park, are a great way to get familiar with all the magic.

Be sure to download the My Disney Experience Mobile App for a great everyday go-to tool. It helps you see theme park attraction wait times, view schedules and calendars, manage FastPass+ selections, and coordinate all your Disney dining reservations.

Carrie, if you have any questions as you work through your plans, please just ask away here at  Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Here's wishing you a magical visit.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
