I'm going to spend my frist new years eve in the WDW this year with my family! So I would like to know about dinner reservations for new years eve dinner. When and how can I make them? What restaurants do you suggest for us?

    Hi Luiz!

This is a great question!  You make reservations online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE. Reservations can be made starting 180 days before your check-in date to a Disney hotel plus the next 10 days. If you are not staying in a Disney hotel then you can only make them as early as 180 days before New Year's Eve.

New Year's Eve is a very busy night at Walt Disney World. Also some of the parks, especially the Magic Kingdom, may close due to capacity. This you should really decide what park you want to be in for the night and then pick a place in that park. To get into a park like the Magic Kingdom, you might have to enter by late morning in order to guarantee that you will be there for the night. After the Magic Kingdom, the next busiest park will be Epcot based on past experiences.

If you don't want to be in a park, then I suggest dining at the California Grill on top of the Contemporary Reaort or at Ohana in the Polynesian. Those are both great places to eat and then you can watch the fireworks from there after eating.

I hope this helps. Please write back with more questions.
