I’m a Southern California resident and am planning a trip to the parks with friends from out of town, can I purchase their tickets with my own with the resident pricing?

Greetings, Alyssa Marie, and welcome to planDisney! I love that you want to make happy memories with your friends at the Disneyland Resort! Let's make sure you have all the information you need to figure out your plans.

Alyssa Marie, I have a bit of a Bibbidi Bobbidi Bummer to share: The Southern California Resident Ticket offer is only for residents within ZIP codes 90000 to 93599. Each adult using this ticket must show a government-issued photo ID at the entrance gate, like a California Driver's License or California ID, to prove eligible residency. That would mean that you could use the ticket as a Southern California resident, but your friends would not be able to use them without proper proof of residency.

However, if your trip dates are flexible, I have some exciting news! The Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will kick off on May 16, 2025. There will be festive decor, exclusive merchandise, new entertainment, and more. Plus, there is a special anniversary ticket offer that provides savings on 3-Day and 4-Day tickets. This isn't just for Southern California residents, so it's something your friends would be able to take advantage of.

I'm very excited about the return of Paint the Night. During this nighttime parade, the streets of Disneyland will be illuminated by the glow of more than a million colorful LED lights. The floats are dazzling and accompanied by one of my favorite parade soundtracks. It's going to be amazing!

Alyssa Marie, if you'll be visiting with your friends, it would be great to get lots of photos together to remember your trip forever. The Disney PhotoPass Service is perfect for that. There are PhotoPass locations throughout the resort where photographers are ready to capture magical moments against iconic backdrops, like Sleeping Beauty Castle, or with beloved characters, like Mickey Mouse. Unlimited digital downloads are included with the Lightning Lane Multi Pass – with that, you'll have the added benefit of accessing the most popular rides through a shorter queue.

I hope this information is helpful to you, Alyssa Marie. While your friends won't be able to take advantage of the Southern California Resident Ticket offer, there are still ways for you to all come together to make magical core memories together that will last a lifetime!
