Ahoy, Eleanor - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for swimming our way with a question about your upcoming sailing on the beautiful
Disney Wonder! Here at planDisney, we love to help Guests just like you make the most of your Disney vacations, and I'm happy to answer your question.
Eleanor, your 5-night Disney Cruise Line sailing does not have a "formal" formal night scheduled, but that shouldn't limit how you experience your evenings! You'll notice that cruise casual attire is the norm for most Guests on board, but there are many who choose to dress up, to varying degrees, for some or all of their dinners and evening entertainment. The great news is that this gives you some extra flexibility in packing and deciding what to experience and when while on board.
I know from my recent sailings that Guests tend to be a little dressier on the evening(s) they dine at certain
rotational dining restaurants. For example, on the Disney Wonder, I would expect to see less dressy attire at Animator's Palate, given its fun and bubbly atmosphere. Triton's and Tiana's Place would be a more natural fit for classier attire. Since you'll be assigned to a specific dining rotation, the nights that you'll visit these restaurants won't be assigned until you're on board.
If you'd like to ensure that the other Guests dining around you are as classy as you are, I recommend booking a dinner reservation at
Palo, the adults-only dining experience on the Wonder available for an additional fee. The food and service are both amazing, and visiting Palo is a magical way to create your very own formal night!
I hope this information is helpful Eleanor -
