I'm someone who is restarted with a 15-an-hour wage, who is hoping to surprise his two kids with a Disney Trip, does Disney offer planning aid for trips and payment plans for a trip like this? What is the best way to make it economical?

Hey there Adam and welcome to planDisney!

The desire to give the little people in our lives the world is one that adults the world over understand on a fundamental level. My mom worked really hard to bring the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort to my childhood and I work just as hard to bring it to my goddaughter. All that budgeting has taught me some excellent ways to make our vacations accessible and affordable. Just listen to your Fairy GodTaylor and the dream that you wish will be coming true in no time!

    1. There is an option for paying off your vacation package in installments. You'll want to start by creating a My Disney Experience account to consolidate all your plans. You'll choose all the details of your vacation like the number of days, your Disney Resorts Collection hotel, and Theme Park Ticket options. You'll want to choose the payment option that allows you to put down a deposit. From there you can make your payments in parts via the Make Payment button on the My Plans page in your account. Be sure to pay that final balance in full 30 days before your arrival date. Then you're all set for a magical time.

    2. Choose a Value Resort Hotel. Disney Resorts Collection hotels cover a range of options for every wallet via the Deluxe, Moderate, and Value tiers. Disney's Pop Century Resort is my personal front runner of the Value options. The 3 pools and the access to the Disney Skyliner earn extra points every time!

    3. Give yourself enough time. I plan my big trips roughly a year in advance to give myself enough time to save without putting so much pressure on myself.

Adam, you are the real magic. This daughter of a single mom who used all of her pixie dust to get things done salutes you. If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me. It's my privilege to make help!

    Happy planning!
