Hi Eduard,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question. I’ve had the chance to do a few solo trips to Walt Disney World Resort and the flexibility for my dining options was one of the biggest perks of being a party of 1!
At
California Grill, availability permitting, you could absolutely dine at the California Grill Lounge without a reservation, availability permitting. The Lounge features the restaurant’s full menu and its stellar view of Magic Kingdom Park. It’s a great option for a solo diner and I highly recommend trying to score a table during your March visit.
As for
‘Ohana, your options are a little bit more limited. The
Tambu Lounge is located next door and, while you can get some of ‘Ohana’s specialties there, such as the chicken wings and a Lapu Lapu, they don’t offer the restaurant’s full menu. Instead, their menu is more in line with what’s on offer at Kona Café, which is a few steps away (and is also a great option)! If you have your heart set on an ‘Ohana feast, I strongly recommend making a dining reservation in order to eat there.
Another tip: if you want to dine at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, other great options for solo diners are
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto or
Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
