Welcome to planDisney, Maria!
What a great big sister you are! In the words of Bruno from Encanto, "You’re exactly what this family needs." I'm sure your sister will have the BEST. DAY. EVER!
Maria, the
current Walt Disney World policy states that children under age 14 must be accompanied by a Guest age 14 or older to enter the theme parks. Therefore, your sister could actually enter the theme park on her own! No parental consent form is needed. I hope that gives you both clarity and reassurance.
Now you can concentrate on planning her magical day. Make sure you stop by Guest Relations and pick up a complimentary celebratory button. Also, if you decide to eat at a
table service restaurant, it never hurts to mention to your server that you're celebrating your sister's birthday.
If you'd like to do something extra special, you might want to check out the
Memory Maker, Maria. My family purchased this for our most recent trip and got some wonderful pictures that we'll treasure forever. There are so many Disney PhotoPass Photographers waiting to capture those little pieces of time.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Maria.
