I'm a single Navy Dad. My daughter going to be 16 November of 2018. I have started planning a surprise, sweet 16 to WDW with her best friend. I need some Mom help on planning. I know about the B-day Button, Dinner with the Characters.any Ideas?

    Hi Joseph,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for your service. My father also served proudly in the U.S. Navy. I am always thrilled to greet a fellow North Carolinian!

I can think of no better way to celebrate a sweet 16 birthday than at the Walt Disney World Resort. Given that your princess is growing up, I suggest a signature restaurant like STK at Disney Springs. The outdoor patio and music create a vibe I think she would love. If you are staying at a resort hotel, I suggest that you request a special birthday phone greeting from Goofy and, since this is such a special birthday surprise, I recommend reviewing the possibilities at Disney Floral & Gifts. The first time we ordered balloons for my girls, their astonishment was priceless.

There are also a number of other ways to Customize your Celebration. You can order a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake by calling 407-939-3463 or a Specialty Cake by calling 407-827-2253.

Finally, I suggest that you purchase Memory Maker. With it, you get access to all of your digital photos taken with Disney PhotoPass photographers. There is nothing quite like seeing everyone scream with that first drop on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror!

Joseph, it sounds like you are an awesome Dad! I am sending pixie dust your way as you plan a magical trip for your daughter and her best friend.
