I'm a single mom of two kids old/big enough to go on all the rides. My question is: are there any rides where we won't all 3 of us fit together or require riders to sit in only pairs? We leave in a week, so if you could respond ASAP--thanks

Hi Krista! It is best to go as prepared as possible to what you will be facing when you are a single parent traveling with your children. I will go park by park to help you understand some of the attractions.

Animal Kingdom: Almost all of the attractions will be ones you can enjoy together. The exceptions will be Expedition Everest and Primeval Whirl where the cars are built for two persons side by side. Expedition Everest does have a singles line which will almost guarantee that no one will be sitting alone in the car if that helps.  For each ride you will tell them you are three persons and they will always have you together in cars side by side too.

Epcot: Spaceship Earth has cars with front and back rows so if you are not comfortable all squeezing into one seat you will still be together in one car. Everything else is fine as you are in boats or cars together. They will love having a party of three for Test Track as that is the configuration of the rows!

Hollywood Studios: Toy Story Mania has seating for two persons and you must do this as each person will want to try their shooting skills during the ride. The third person will be sitting directly behind the other two although you won't be talking during the ride. I would suggest you have the two children ride together and you sit behind them behind the barrier if you are comfortable doing this. They will have fun battling each other. Rock n Roller Coaster is definitely configured for two guests as you are harnessed in. Again the third is either in front or behind the other two and will likely sit with a single rider.

Magic Kingdom: The following are generally two person riding cars- Magic Carpets, Dumbo, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Speedway, Astro Orbiter, and Buzz Lightyear. Space Mountain is single with everyone sitting in a line so you are together technically.
