I'm a single mom taking my 3 daughters to Disney for the 1st time. I'm concerned about everything I'll have to carry into the parks on a daily basis, especially water for all of us. What do you recommend? Should I haul 4 water bottles around?

    Hi Stacy!

This is a great question.  I recommend bringing in a small backpack.  You can bring a backpack on all of the rides at Walt Disney World; that even includes the roller coasters!  I usually bring hats in the summer time, jackets when it is not hot and humid, snacks, and sun screen to reapply later in the day.  I also usually bring some kind of camera.

It is not critical to bring water bottles, though many guests do.  You can get free water in a cup at any counter service location in Walt Disney World.  All you have to do is ask; of course, you might have to wait in line especially during lunch and dinner hours and thus you might want to bring a water bottle or two.  Of course, you can also buy bottles of water in the theme parks though they are relatively expensive.

If you think you need to bring more items than will fit in a backpack "just in case" then you can always rent a locker in the theme parks to hold any extra things, such as extra clothes, etc.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
