Hi Karen,
What an exciting vacation you and your little princess will have at Walt Disney World next month! Getting your theme park tickets is the first part of the fun.You said you booked a character lunch, but didn't say where. Since your daughter loves Disney Junior, a lunch at Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios for the Disney Junior Play n' Dine would be amazing! Doc McStuffins and Sofia the First were added to the line up, so your little girl will have a most memorable meal. Be sure to hop onto Toy Story Mania. This attraction is one of the most popular rides in the park.
There are many magical things to do and see within the parks that don't require any extra money. If you visit Magic Kingdom, check out the stage shows right in front of Cinderella Castle. These ended up being my little girl's favorite part of our day in the park. The shows last only 20 minutes, but are performed throughout the day, so you'll have a chance to catch them many times. Show times for the current show are here:
Dream-Along with Mickey.
The Quick Service stations in each park offer many culinary varieties; you don't have to worry about sitting down to eat, or dealing with a gratuity. Columbia Harbour House is an affordable Disney fan favorite in Magic Kingdom and my favorite Quick Service station in Hollywood Studios is Starring Rolls Cafe. They serve big sandwiches that can be shared, offer specialty cupcakes that are huge and delicious.
There's so many other tips I can share with you, Karen, but i'm out of room! If you'd like more help with planning your frugal yet fabulous Disney vacation, please feel free to ask me at any time.
