Hi there, Alejandra!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR that you will soon be heading on a Disney Cruise Line vacation! I know it may seem far away still, but before you know it you will be on your way to an adventure you won’t forget!
The onboard
Youth Clubs are great part of any trip on the Mickey Boat – for kids and parents alike! Young Mouseketeers can spend time enjoying themselves in spaces reserved especially for them – playing video games, participating in organized activities or just exploring! The Youth Counselors in the Oceaneer Club and Lab are excellent as well – always making the young Guests feel comfortable and finding a way to connect with them and ensuring that they have a great time in there! In our experiences onboard, we have found that there many Counselors that speak languages other than English, so your son will have no problem finding someone to converse with or help him out as needed! My recommendation for you is that when you get onboard and go to check your children into the Oceaneer Club or Oceaneer Lab for the first time make sure to inform the Counselors at check-in so they can connect him with someone! Also check out the youth spaces with your kiddos during Open House hours -- they will love playing alongside you and you will feel like a child again!
Now, once you’ve got the kiddos checked into the Youth Clubs, take the opportunity to enjoy the adult-exclusive spaces onboard! I personally recommend the Rainforest Room in
Senses Spa – indulge in heated lounge chairs, saunas and rain showers for pure relaxation!
Happy Sailing!
