Hi Heather,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to be in the midst of planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort for your twins!
As a mom of twins, I smiled at your question! I remember our first trip with our girls when they were 5-years old. If you are only doing Magic Kingdom and Epcot, you should be able to see enough with two days at each park. Our girls loved Epcot the most on that first visit. We honestly stayed in the
Innoventions area for the bulk of our time and missed most of the rest of the park. We had to go back to at least get all of the way around the park!
By now, I am hoping you have considered making
Dining Reservations for
Character Meals.
Chef Mickey's and
The Crystal Palace are two of our favorites! We typically do dinner at Chef Mickey's and breakfast at the Crystal Palace.
I also suggest that you make an early morning dining reservation before the park opens. If Magic Kingdom opens at 9:00 a.m., they will let all guests in at 8:00 a.m. to browse the shops on Main Street before the
Let the Magic Begin Show in front of the castle. If you make a dining reservation for 8:00 a.m. or earlier, you will be able to enter the park before other guests. When you do, you can take some magical photos in the park before the crowds arrive!
Happy Planning!
