Hi Angel,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
Over the years I’ve gone to the Theme Parks by myself and had the BEST time. Sometimes it’s nice to just get away and enjoy the things that you like to do!
Angel, it really depends on what you want to get most out of your trip. Are you a foodie who what’s to try all the unique snacks for the holiday season? Do you want to enjoy all the thrill rides? Are there any shows you’d like to see? Or do you want to do some of everything?
One of my favorite things to do is go to the Theme Parks early, see how many attractions I can do, then go back to the room to relax for a bit. Since you’re on your own schedule you can focus on your top priorities. Some of my favorite attractions are
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind,
Space Mountain and
Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain. If helpful, you could also utilize
Disney Genie+ for a day to get on some extra rides. You can also use the single riders line if the attraction has one!
I also suggest trying a new restaurant that you’ve never been to before. It could be at a Resort or in the Theme Parks! Try utilizing the
walk-up reservation system, it’s super helpful and since you’re only one person, you should be able to get a reservation pretty easily. Just remember you’ll want to be physically in the area of that restaurant so you can join the walk-up list.
Remember to take it easy! The beauty of going to the Theme Parks solo is that you’re on your own time, so if you want to walk through
Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge to get to
Toy Story Land, do it. If you’d rather ride the
monorail around the Resorts one time before getting off at
Magic Kingdom Park, go for it. You’ll be able to experience the Walt Disney World Resort in a brand new way!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your solo trip. If you have any other planning or vacation questions in the meantime or want other suggestions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
