Hi! I'm signed up for Tower of Terror, travelling alone. I would love to bring my 11-year-old son and running buddy with me. I could sign him up for the kids' race and after party. But what would he do while I run the 10-miler? Are there any options?

    Greetings, Tam!

Congratulations on your decision to participate in the 2014 Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ 10-Miler. This thrilling nighttime race will have you running into the 5th dimension.

With regard to options for your son while you are running, I suggest utilizing the Disney-endorsed, in-room childcare service, Kid's Nite Out. This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week--allowing you to enjoy the race knowing your son is being well cared for by a certified child care provider in the comfort of your resort hotel room. This is really your best option as there is no on-site child care at the race and the Children's Activity Centers available at select resorts close at 11:55pm.

Will your running buddy be participating in the 10-miler? Would your son be able to hang out with them while you run? For friends and family with tickets to attend the Disney Villains Hollywood Bash, entry will be allowed for them into Hollywood Studios at 10pm. They'll be able to ride select attractions, meet & greet with Disney Villain characters and watch you run by the iconic Sorcerer Mickey Hat. They can then meet up with you near the finish-line for more post-race fun.

I hope this information is helpful, Tam! Please do not hesitate to ask any additional questions you may have as you plan and prepare to run 'till you drop.

    Happy Training!
