I'm sign up to run the half marathon at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. Will it be possible to see the park after the race? Will there be discounts accompanying the race attendees? Will there be events after the race for us to attend?

Welcome to planDisney, Travis. Thanks for sprinting over to ask us this question. The race, like planning, can be slow and steady and I'm delighted to help along the way.

Congratulations on securing a spot for the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend! There's nothing more magical than running through the parks to give you a little extra boost on your 13.1-mile journey. I can't think of a better way to spend my time after the race than having a celebratory DOLE Whip and then heading over to the "wildest ride in the wilderness." At least that's where you can find me after a race.

If you'd like to celebrate with a magical theme park day, you will have to purchase a theme park ticket and make a theme park reservation. There, unfortunately, aren't any discounts on tickets for race participants, however, you can always check the Offers & Discounts page on the Disneyland site to see if something will work for your visit. While there is no official event after the race, crossing that finish line is always a party. Keep an eye on the runDisney Blog and follow @rundisney on Instagram to get the latest updates as we get closer to race weekend.

Travis, while this might not be the answer you were hoping to hear, I hope that the information I shared is still helpful. I wish you all the luck in your training and wish you magic in every mile of your race!
