I’m showing different magic hours on the Disney app vs. what is showing on the website. I.e.- extra magic hours are listed for Hollywood Studios on the web for Wed. 7/31, but not on the app for this day- but hours are instead shown for Magic Kingdom?

Hi there, Katie, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you're trying to plan a little extra fun at the Walt Disney World Resort during your visit. Let's help you make the most of your Disney days!

I just checked both the My Disney Experience app and the Park Hours on the Walt Disney World website, and it looks like there are two different "extra" experiences happening at the Theme Parks on July 31. Magic Kingdom Park will be hosting evening Extra Magic Hours that day, with the Park remaining open exclusively to Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guests from 10 p.m. until midnight. Over at Disney's Hollywood Studios, the early birds will be able to enjoy some extra time to Play Big in Toy Story Land with a Disney Early Morning Magic event starting at 7 a.m. What does that mean for you? Extra Magic Hours are complimentary for all Guests staying in a Disney Resort hotel, while Disney Early Morning Magic is a special ticketed event with a separate cost in addition to your regular Park admission. Both Extra Magic Hours and Disney Early Morning Magic give you a chance to experience the Theme Parks with smaller crowds and shorter wait times, so they're definitely worth checking out!

I hope this helps you plan your magical Walt Disney World vacation, Katie. Please come see us again if you have any other questions. We're always here to provide a little "extra" help when you need it!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
