Ahoy there, Ashley! Welcome aboard planDisney! I'm so excited that you'll be setting sail on a Disney Cruise Line vacation next month! Hopefully, you're getting ready to pack,
perform your Online Check-In 30 days before your sail date, and then relax the days away once you board!
But before that, sounds like you're taking the "planDrew-approved" approach and checking a few important items off your checklist! What a pro!
According to the latest "Know Before You Go" information - which was last updated June 30th, 2022 - Disney Cruise Line continues to require all vaccine-eligible Guests (based on US eligibility requirements) to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as defined by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), at the time of sailing. This is a requirement for all Guests (US and international) ages 5 and older. Since Disney Cruise Line is using the CDC guidelines for Fully-Vaccinated, as long as you are more than 14 days past the second dose of your vaccine, you satisfy this requirement!
Now, as someone who came down with a mild case of COVID-19 following my first trip in more than two years, I'm a big fan of getting boosted, but it's not a requirement to sail, so you should make the decision that makes the most sense for you and your crew!
Whatever you decide,
everything that is included in a Disney Cruise Line vacation is just over the horizon, Ashley! I can't wait for you to experience it all, and hope you come back ashore ready to cast off again! Thank you so much for your question, and if you have any others as you continue planning, please leave another message in a bottle for us here at planDisney!
Until then, may your anchor be tight and your compass true!
Andrew
