Welcome to planDisney, Joanne!
I’m excited to hear about your upcoming trip to
Walt Disney World in September 2024! The new Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass offer a fantastic way to maximise your time in the Parks. Let’s talk through what we know so far about the new offerings.
Disney’s ticket policies generally state that tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. This includes the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass. However, one of the great features of the updated Lightning Lane Multi Pass is that you know exactly what to expect before purchase. This means you’ll know which three rides are available to book for Lightning Lanes in advance. It’s important to know you must be on US soil to access the advance purchase of the Lightning Lane Multi Pass or the Lightning Lane Single Pass.
What about a one-day on, one-day off approach to Lightning Lanes, perhaps mixing up some Multi Pass and Single Pass days? Remember, the
Magic Ticket provides 14 full days of Park Hopper access to the enchantment at all the Parks, including the Water Park. I like to remind Guests that there is much to do beyond the big thrills - from
parades to
shows - and you may find some days in the Parks without Lightning Lanes equally enjoyable. For our family, such days are relaxed and spontaneous.
I hope this helps today, and I suggest keeping an eye on the
Walt Disney World website for any updated information. Enjoy planning your magical adventure, Joanne, and feel free to reach out if you have any more questions!
