I'm just seeking some clarification on the rider switch pass rules; different sources claim that anywhere from 1-3 guests can return with a rider switch pass. How many adults can wait with a non-rider and then return later on the rider switch pass?

Hi Marlaina! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Are you so excited about your upcoming vacation?

My family LOVES using the Walt Disney World Resort Rider Switch Service as our visits are usually just my husband, my son, and myself. My husband and I haven't ridden a big ride together in about three years, but I'm so thankful this option exists as I'd really hate for us to rock-paper-scissors which of us gets to ride what all day.

Granted things change all the time, during my last visit every Rider Switch ticket we received allowed up to three guests for the return ride. You don't need to bring three people to experience the attraction, but anywhere from one to three people are welcome to ride using that one ticket.

My parents are actually joining us on our next trip and I'm already thinking of all the combinations we can make to strategically experience different attractions together. What's really exciting is out of the four adults and one child, my parents can ride with my husband while I wait with our son, and then when it's my turn to go, I can bring two family members who just got off as my ride buddies

I hope this helped clear things up a bit for you, Marlaina, and we'll see you real soon!
