Hiya Sally!
Thanks for sailing over with your question, I'm sorry for any confusion. The schedule for formal and semi-formal nights can vary between different itineraries, so I'm glad you shared which cruise you're going to be on. I'm happy to help!
For your itinerary on the Disney Fantasy, the current
dining dress schedule has a formal night on the second evening and a semi-formal night on the sixth evening. I also see a
pirate night on the schedule for the fourth night, so you might want to pack some swashbuckling accessories!
I love how flexible the dress code is on Disney Cruises. If you want to dress up you're more than welcome, but you don't have to if that isn't what you enjoy. Just know that you do need to dress a bit nicer than "cruise casual" if you're visiting the adult-exclusive restaurants
Palo and
Remy. They're worth dressing up for! On a longer cruise like yours, I would definitely plan to have dinner at one of those locations, and try for a brunch reservation too!
One thing I usually take advantage of on longer cruises is
self-service laundry. That way I can pack a little lighter (you've got to save some room for souvenirs, after all) but still have everything I need onboard. I do always pack a light scarf or sweater to take to dinner, because sometimes it's chilly in the dining rooms after spending a day in the sun. There are some great
packing lists on the Disney Cruise Line website to get you started.
Once you board the Disney Fantasy, the best way to keep up with all the activities is to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App! You can even download the app now to enjoy an adorable countdown clock so you know exactly how long it is until your cruise. Have a wonderful time, Sally!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
