I'm seeing a lot of ?s about sharing meals on the dining plan. What I'm wondering is if 2 ppl can share a dining plan. Done the free DDP in the past, it's a TON of food. Now that we need to buy, can we buy 1 and my husband and I split meals?

Hi Jennica!  I certainly can relate to the feeling of the Disney Dining Plan being a lot of food!  It is very generous for sure.  Unfortunately,  one of the rules of the Dining Plan is that all guests on the reservation must purchase the Dining Plan,  so it would not be possible for just one guest to have it and the other to not.  Since you're not big eaters, you may find that it is more cost-effective for you and your husband to just pay out-of-pocket for your meals.  Add up the cost of the Dining Plan for the two of you, per day and decide if you were just going to order and pay which would be cheaper.  I'm guessing in your case, it would be cheaper to forego the Dining Plan and pay out-of-pocket.

Thanks for asking your question here at the Moms Panel.  I would be happy to help you with any other questions you have while planning your Walt Disney World vacation - just ask!

    Have a magical day!
