I'm seeing conflicting information online about Disney allowing dogs at select resorts. I read the program is ending this month, but I also read it is continuing in 2019. Which is true?!

    Welcome BACK, Elizabeth!

There are quite a few of us 'crazy pet parents' here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My Boston Terrier was the 'Best Dog' in my wedding. Lindsey N has an entire wardrobe for her fur-baby, Jack. And another of my 2018 Moms Panel Pals, Veronica, has an upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation where she'll be bringing her doggies to stay with her in her Disney Resort Hotel room, and I am already so excited to hEAR all of the details of their vacation.

Yes, dogs are still welcome to stay in select rooms at four Disney Resort Hotels. What started out in October of 2017 as a one-year pilot program to last until fall of 2018 has indeed been extended for the foreseeable future. There was a bit of confusion around the time that the program announced that it had been extended, and some sources did write up that this option was ending. I'm happy to say that doggies, pooches, puppies and Plutos of all breeds are still welcome to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth.

Select buildings of the following Disney Resort Hotels are the four that are participating in this program: Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort. For more information, please call (407) 934-7639.

Ps - Check out Disney Tails, a collection of Disney-fied pet collars, bowls, leashes, costumes, pet toys and more!

We'll See You Real Soon, Elizabeth!
