Methawee from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello, I'm a scholar under j-1 visa. Do I counted as resident? I don't have SSN here since my j-1 is not allowed me to work. I only have id card from UCF and some fishing license.

Welcome to planDisney, Methawee! I'm so excited to hear that you're thinking about visiting Walt Disney World Resort soon. Florida residents do qualify for some special deals and offers, and I'm happy to chat with you about what kind of proof of residence you can use to secure a great price on your Theme Park tickets.

Firstly, you do not need a Social Security Number to purchase Florida Resident tickets or Annual Passes. Typically, your residence is established with a government-issued photo ID, like a Valid Florida driver’s license, Florida state-issued ID card, or Florida-based military ID. If you do not have one of the indicated IDs, then you must provide one of the following, dated within the past two months, evidencing a Florida residential address, along with a corresponding picture ID, like a passport:
    • Proof of a current mortgage with a Florida address
    • Bills, policies, or registrations in your name with a Florida address, including insurance policies or utility bills
    • Mail from financial institutions or mail from government agencies with your name and address on it
Current statements and bills printed from electronic versions are accepted, along with electronic bills provided via smartphones and tablet devices.

    Have a magical day, Methawee!

In fact, we even opted out of a tropical honeymoon to spend a blissful week at Walt Disney World Resort instead! I'm thrilled to be on the planDisney Panel and I'm excited to share everything I've learned from all of our trips and help you plan a memorable family vacation.  Learn More About Jessica
