I'm sailing out out Port Canaveral and want to park in a garage instead of a parking lot. The site says parking lot and garage. Is the preferred area the garage area?

    Ahoy Karen –
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I looked at the website for Port Canaveral, and you are right, there is not much information! My crew has never parked onsite before because we prefer to use Disney Ground Transportation, but I do recall seeing a rather large parking lot adjacent to the cruise terminal. I called my friends at Disney Cruise Line and my fellow Moms Panelist Ricardo to find out what is the situation with parking at the terminal. My friends tell me that all of the regular parking is in the garage and covered. Preferred refers to the lot adjacent to the cruise terminal and is uncovered. Pretty much everyone chooses to park in the garage when they drive. Karen, I hope this helps with your parking dilemma and that you have happy planning for your cruise!
