Ahoy, Linda! Welcome back to planDisney and thanks for bringing us your Disney Cruise Line question about your upcoming sailing aboard the
Disney Treasure.
Although I understand why you wanted to check before embarkation day, I am happy to report that there should not be any restrictions that limit the fun for your two tall twin boys. Honestly, the only ship feature that came to mind as having a potential height limitation was the
AquaMouse, but I double checked and there is no maximum height restriction for riders. So your boys should definitely check out the first-ever Disney attraction at sea, which features thrilling splashes and effects that bring Captain Mickey’s adventures to life in a whole new way.
Since your boys will be 17 years old at the time of the cruise, they will still be able to participate in all of the activities at
Vibe. On the Disney Treasure, Vibe is located on Deck 12, Aft, and provides an exclusive hangout space for cruisers ages 14-17. Right next door, they will also find another space called
The Hideaway, which offers older teens and young adults a space with a dance floor and DJ booth.
If they aren’t really interested in the teen club, then keep in mind that the
nightclubs and lounges found onboard are open to everyone during the day. Those spaces only become adults-only after 9pm, when guests must be 18 years or older to participate. Since the Disney Treasure has so many unique spaces to explore, I’m sure your whole family would enjoy time in the
Haunted Mansion Parlor or
Periscope Pub.
I hope that helps put your mind at ease. If you have any other questions before you set sail next month, then feel free to reach back out to us at planDisney. Happy sailing!
