Ahoy Jaimie!
Your upcoming Disney Fantasy sailing is on the horizon. So glad the X marked the spot and you were able to select a
Halloween on the High Seas voyage for you and your crew. That 7-night
Eastern Caribbean itinerary has some of my favorite ports: Tortola, St. Thomas, and Castaway Cay.
I wish I could tell you more, but we currently don’t know any details about what the
Disney Fantasy cruises will be offering come September. All Disney Cruise Line has said so far is that they are still preparing the Disney Fantasy and Disney Wonder to welcome Guests once again and they look forward to sharing more information soon.
I can tell you that the first ship to set sail from the U.S. will be the Disney Dream, and it’s significant that there is no mention of
Pirate Night. Additionally, there are new fireworks at sea being offered. While this is specific to the Disney Dream, I am guessing that this may be the new direction that Captain Mickey is steering all the fleet in, and that new events are being developed in light of the new health and safety protocols being implemented.
Even if events like Pirate Night may not be on the Disney Fantasy during your voyage, it’s still certain to be an extraordinary experience. You can get an idea of what might be happening on the Disney Fantasy by looking at the
Disney Dream Experience Updates page, specifically the section called
“On the Ship.” Again, this is no guarantee, but it gives you something to review before Disney Cruise Line creates a similar page for the Disney Fantasy.
Jaimie, raise the Jolly Roger and send us more of your excellent questions as you prepare for your adventure at sea. Wishing you a truly DREAMy voyage with your pirate crew!
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
