Ahoy, Alexander! Welcome to planDisney and aboard your
Disney Cruise Line vacation!
Isn't it fun to think about being on a Disney Cruise ship when a new Disney or Pixar movie is scheduled to release? I was on the
Disney Treasure this past week, and with
Elio set to hit theaters on June 20, we all had high hopes of seeing this movie before returning to Port Canaveral on the 21st. Our Cruise Director teased that it might be a possibility, but he wouldn't commit... until June 18. He announced we would be among the first to see it with a special "premEAR at sea" on June 19!
This was my third cruise with this extra sprinkle of Pixie Dust. I've seen both Inside Out and Inside Out 2 at 11 p.m. on the evening before their theatrical release. I can also happily tell you that I saw the trailer for
The Fantastic Four: First Steps on board. Although there are no guarantees, my experience gives me hope that you will have a
fantastic time.
If you want to catch up on other recent releases, my cruise also included showings of Lilo & Stitch, Snow White, Moana 2, Thunderbolts*, and Captain America: Brave New World. You will also find classic Disney movies on Funnel Vision throughout the cruise.
You will be able to see the showtimes for these movies on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app when you are on board. If you don't spot the Fantastic Four on the schedule at first, don't worry just yet. The times for Elio were not listed in the app until the day it was shown.
Alexander, I have no doubt you are going to have a
Marvel-ous time on the most magical ship on the sea. If you have any other questions, please cruise back by
planDisney. We're all aboard to help!
SEAS the Adventure and Enjoy the Shows!
