    I'm running in the Princess Run Feb 19th- going by myself- is there a blog or site for people to discuss the event and maybe find new friends to pal around with during the the run?

    Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Congratulations for registering for an event during Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend! It's one of my favorite weekends to run with girlfriends.

    I was like you when I first ran the Disney Princess Half Marathon 5 years ago. I ran with my husband, but I was looking for other runners who had been there before. I found several Facebook groups to chat with new runners and those who had experience running during Princess Half Marathon Weekend. I suggest doing a search on Facebook for 2019 Princess Half Marathon Weekend. Please keep in mind that none of those Facebook groups are official runDisney groups. 

    I love running with friends, and we often dress up in costume for runDisney races. Sometimes when my friends and I get separated, because of different paces, if I notice the same people around me while I'm running, I'll strike up a conversation with the runner next to me. If they have headphones on, then they're usually not up for chatting. However, I've made several friends on the course before. Just use your best judgment.
