I'm running my first half marathon at Disney this January, and as a typical mom, I'm wondering how far apart the water stations and bathrooms are spaced along the route?

Hi Cassandra!  That is a great question!  I totally understand about drink/snack/bathroom preparedness!

I am not sure of the exact number of drink stops.  I do know that they are spaced apart at about every mile and a half, and there are plenty of them!  I usually only stop at every other one.  They offer POWERADE and water at each stop.  There will also be an energy gel stop around mile 8.5.

As for bathrooms, again, I don't know the exact number but they are also generously spread throughout the race.  There are a huge number of porta-potties at the start, and then also arranged over the course.  As a general rule, they get less and less crowded as the race continues.  Not only have the runners spread out more, but our nervous bladders have calmed down as well!

I hope this helps answer your question!  Please let me know if you have any others!  The Disney World half marathon is a really fun race!  You will be so glad you decided to run!
