I'm running both the Disneyland Half and the W&D. What is the best way to get to the race start from non sponsered hotels? At the Wine and Dine will the park shuttle be running during the after party with the extended park hours?

    Hi Aryn!

You will be getting my favorite medal!  The Coast-to-Coast medal is amazing!

Your best bet at Disneyland is to plan to take a taxi.  I'm not sure how far you will be from the starting line, so you may call your hotel in advance to ask that question.  There will be road closure information in the Final Race Packet that you can give your cab driver, so he can avoid closed roads.  You will also want to have a number to call so you can be picked back up after you finish your race.  It's also worth asking your hotel if they plan to provide a shuttle to the race.  If there are enough runners there, they may do this for a fee per runner.

For the Wine and Dine, there will be buses back and forth from host resorts and the Finish Line Party.  Only host resorts will have this.  You can find the list of host resorts on the Disney World Travel page of the runDisney website.  If you aren't staying at a host resort, then you will have to plan to have your own transportation.  Keep the following in mind if you have your own vehicle:

***Guests not staying at a Host Resort will need to provide their own transportation and those driving personal vehicles will be required to park at Epcot®. THERE WILL BE NO PARKING AT ESPN WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS COMPLEX OR DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM® THEME PARK ON RACE EVENING. For runners driving to Epcot® on race evening, the race shuttle from Epcot® to the sports complex will begin at 7:00 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m. The parking fee at Epcot® will be waived for runners and spectators arriving after 7:00 p.m. on race evening. Please allow enough time to ensure you are parked at Epcot® no later than 8:00 p.m***

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
