Hi there, Juel!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for stopping by with your question about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort for the
Walt Disney World Marathon! I KNOW you have been busy training for this undoubtedly fun and exciting race, so I am already offering up a huge “CONGRATULATIONS” to you for this! My husband and I trained for the Walt Disney World Marathon yEARs ago, but logistics deterred us from running in Orlando, but it’s definitely still on my bucket list! I have only heard magical things about the experiences that others have while participating in the Walt Disney World Marathon and I know this will be just as memorable and magical for you!
If you still want to visit the theme parks after 26.2 magical miles (my legs are tiring out just thinking about that right now…), you can most definitely purchase a theme park admission ticket and visit one – or all of the theme parks! While pricing is always subject to change, pricing for
theme park admission tickets for the race weekend are:
1 Park Theme Park Admission Ticket (gives you access to one theme park) - $125/ages 10 + and $120/ages 3-9
Park Hopper Admission Ticket (gives you access to all four theme parks in one day) - $185/ages 10+ and $180/ages 3-9
Tickets can be purchased online ahead of time or you can purchase them once you are in Orlando! Make sure to “refuel” with my favorite Walt Disney World Resort treat – Mickey Rice Krispie Treats, which can be found at the
Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom Park...yummy and well worth running 26.2 miles for!
Wishing you a magical and memorable run, Juel! And, again…CONGRATULATIONS and WAY TO GO!!
Stephanie
