I'm running the Dark Side 10K at DisneyWorld in April. I think the race starts at Epcot. I was told bus transport is available from hotels to the race (at 4:00am). Is there any particular hotel to reserve that would be most convenient?

The new Star Wars Half Marathon--The Dark Side weekend is going to be a blast! I can't wait to see what all runDisney has in store for us.

During that race weekend, all of the Walt Disney World Resorts will be "host resorts" and will offer bus transportation to and from all race events. Since the race will begin in the Epcot area, the Epcot Resorts (Beach Club, Yacht Club, & Boardwalk) would be in closer proximity and mean a shorter bus ride. BUT, any resort is a great choice. You need to choose the one that best fits your budget and theme preference. Personally, the Epcot Resorts are always my favorites because Epcot is my favorite park...but everyone is different!
