Hi there! I'm returning to Walt Disney World in June and remember hearing about having your mail stamped from various places in the parks (for example Main Street). I was curious if that was still true and if so where they offer the service. Thanks!

Hi, Melissa! I’m walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A… and putting my postcards in those little mailboxes! I have a small stack ready to send during my next trip!

Yes, if you stick your stamped, addressed mail in a Main Street U.S.A mailbox, it will leave the park and enter the USPS mail system with a special return address stamp. What a treat it will be for your friends and family to receive a note from you, from the Most Magical Place on Earth! The Main Street return stamp is the only one that will be on your Magic Kingdom mail, but you can mail items from other parks and according to a Cast Member I spoke with, get return stamps from the other parks. I hope that you have your postcards ready to go, and if you don’t you can step into the Emporium in Magic Kingdom and purchase a few for yourself.

And as far as sending things back home, please don’t forget that when you check out with an item that won’t fit in your suitcase, the Cast Member at the register can help you ship that item with Home Delivery at a low cost. I adore finding sales and special parks items and mailing them home. It’s always fun to receive magic mail when I get home! Thank you so much for finding the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help with your magical vacation! ~ Lindsey P.
