If I’m at the resort for 6 days and I get a 4 day park pass and want to go to a water park two days, what do I need to purchase? Can I buy two single day admissions to the water park or do I need to buy full theme park tickets just to use the water park?

Welcome to planDisney, Matthew! I'm excited to hear you're thinking of spending some time at a Disney Water Park on your next visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! The water parks are a great way to relax and unwind in between the hustle and bustle of the theme parks, but they also have their own opportunities to keep the thrills going if you're looking for some adventure while you're there!

Water Park tickets can be purchased a few different ways, so let's go over the details! To visit a water park, you will need valid admission, which can be obtained in the following ways:

    • Purchasing a single-day Water Park Ticket for admission for each day you wish to visit. Since you mentioned visiting more than once, you could purchase two, single-day tickets for each of your visits.
    • Adding the Water Park and Sports Option to your standard, 4-Day Theme Park Ticket. With this add-on, you will be able to visit the water parks a total of 4 times during the length of your ticket (for a 4-day ticket, this is 7 days). You can use the water park admissions on the same days or different days than you use your theme park admissions, and they do not have to be used consecutively.
    • Adding the Park Hopper Plus Option to your standard, 4-Day Theme Park Ticket, With this option, you will also have 4 visits to the water park, but you will also have the option to park hop between the four theme parks during your visit. The length of this ticket is also 7 days from its first use.
    • If you are visiting in 2025 and staying at a Disney Resort hotel, don't forget you also will receive complimentary water park admission on the day of your check-in! So this could be a money-saving option if that works with your plans, as well!
Matthew, I would recommend taking a look at all of the options and also comparing the prices to see what give you the best value. With the water park add-ons, you also get access to some other extras like visiting ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex or playing a round of miniature golf at either Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf or Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf. These are some fun extras that my family enjoys!

I hope this helps you splash into even more fun on your next vacation, Matthew! If you have any other planning questions, come on back and let me know! I'm always happy to dive into the magic with you!

    Magic Awaits,
    Alison
