I'm a FL resident. Need to buy FL resident tickets for two adults, age 12, 10, 4 and 3 years old but I'm not going to the Disney world park with them. Ok to still purchase them with my FL residence discount

    Hi, Al!

It's great that you are planning to purchase tickets to visit Disney World with family!

Florida residents have access to a variety of benefits and discounts that would make me want to visit all year long! However, those benefits are only available to Florida residents, not to non-resident friends or family members. All tickets purchased at a Florida resident discounted price can be used as long as proof of residency is shown at the gate.

Let me recommend you go to this link to have a look at the various ticket options available. Once you purchase them and link them to your My Disney Experience account you can start making your FastPass+ selections (up to 30 days in advance of your visit, and if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, then you will have up to 60 days prior to your stay to make your selections. Isn't it neat?

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
