I'm a FL resident and I would love to just walk around boardwalk. Am I able to just come and do some of the shops and activities, if so, where do I park? Do I park in beach club/yacht club parking lot? Or is there a seperate boardwalk parking lot.

    Hiya Kristen,

Welcome to planDisney! One of my favorite parts about being a Guest at Walt Disney World Swan Hotel is being able to walk along Disney’s BoardWalk to EPCOT and back. I love stopping into the shops, grabbing snacks, and just enjoying the peaceful stroll.

When I was more local, we would get a dining reservation for Trattoria al Forno (one of our family favorites). Then after we enjoyed our meal, we would walk it off promenading around Disney’s BoardWalk. I can tell you that Disney’s BoardWalk has its own parking lot separate from Disney’s Yacht Club and Disney’s Beach Club Resorts. However, Guests wanting to park in the parking lot must either be Guests of Disney’s BoardWalk Inn or have a confirmed dining reservation for one of the table service locations at Disney’s BoardWalk. This policy also extends to parking for Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts (must be Guests staying there or with confirmed dining reservations). So if you want to park at Disney’s BoardWalk, I highly recommend you make a dining reservation for Trattoria al Forno, Flying Fish, or Big River Grille & Brewing Works and add a delicious meal to your BoardWalk itinerary. Then you can enjoy up to three hours of parking to take in Disney’s BoardWalk activities and shops along with your meal.

I hope this was helpful, Kristen. Please come back and see us if you need anything else!

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
