Hello, pal! Welcome to planDisney!
I’m so happy to be chatting with a fellow Florida resident, and I hope that you’re getting excited for your next visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! We’re getting into my favorite season at the Disney World theme parks — THE HOLIDAYS! I adore Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmastime at Disney, and I hope that you get a chance to visit with your group before the end of this year! Watch the
Disney Parks Blog for all of the current happenings around the Disney World theme parks!
I recommend looking at the
Special Offers, Deals and Discounts page to see what ways there are for you and your homeschool group to save some money when visiting the theme parks! Though there isn’t a specific deal, discount, or offer for homeschooling groups at this time, there are some great ways for Florida locals to save money on tickets! You can find extra information about deals like this on the
Florida Residents Special Tickets, Passes and Offers page as well. I recommend utilizing all of the benefits that you can in order to save for your field trip!
Here are a couple other budgeting tips I have for you!
-You’re welcome to bring outside food and drinks into the theme parks! My family loves to pack a picnic to enjoy on the grass in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom! This saves some money, and we always love the gorgeous view of the Castle while we eat!
-Cups of ice water are free at most Quick-Service dining locations!
-Snack portions are generally large, so purchasing treats to share is a great way to save some money too!
-Complimentary “I’m Celebrating” buttons are available at all gift shops if you ask! Your group could get matching buttons to celebrate your field trip for free just by asking a Cast Member at a gift shop.
If you have any additional questions, we hope you’ll visit us again at planDisney.
Have a magical week!
