Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Tiffany!
You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. Thanks so much for dropping by with your question today. If I'm being honest, I'm more than a little jealous of you Florida residents –– being able to jump in the car for a short trip to Walt Disney World Resort sounds like a dream come true! Since it sounds like you're planning to visit a few times over the next few months, let me share a few details about upgrading your ticket to a
Walt Disney World Annual Pass –– that way, you'll be ready to enjoy an entire year of fun in The Most Magical Place on Earth.
While sales of most new Walt Disney World Annual Pass tiers are currently paused, as a Florida resident, you still have the opportunity to purchase the
Disney Pixie Dust Pass. And here's the best part –– if you've already purchased tickets for your upcoming visit, you'll have the option to upgrade it to the Disney Pixie Dust pass, if you'd like to become an Annual Passholder. All you'll need to do is visit any Walt Disney World theme park ticketing window or
Guest Relations location during your vacation to pay the difference in price between the ticket you've already purchased and the cost of a new Annual Pass. Just keep in mind that your ticket will need to be upgraded
before you enter the park for the last day of your ticket. If you'll be visiting on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with a three-day ticket, this means that you'll need to complete your upgrade before you tap into the park on Sunday –– once you've used that final day of admission, your ticket will no longer be eligible to upgrade.
If you're planning to visit
EPCOT during your trip, I recommend heading to the International Gateway Entrance –– located between France and the United Kindom in World Showcase –– to upgrade your ticket. Because it's tucked away at the back of the park, this Guest Relations location tends to be less busy in my experience, and it's my go-to stop anytime I need to speak with a Guest Relations Cast Member. In fact, this is where I upgraded my own ticket to an Annual Pass last fall, and I was in and out in less than five minutes. If it works out for your schedule, this is a great option for making the upgrade process quick and easy –– just the way every part of a great vacation should be!
Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, Tiffany. I hope this helped to answer your question and I really hope you enjoy all the magic of your new Walt Disney World Annual Pass!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
