Hello! I'm some research to plan a trip to Disneyland/Disney World and I keep coming across mentions of a discount for Canadian Residents. Is there somewhere I could find more information? Do I have to book through a Travel Agent?

    Hi Chad,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

I’m thrilled to hear that you’re doing some advanced research about your family’s upcoming Disney Parks visit. It’s truly amazing how just a little bit of knowledge will go a long way towards helping you plan a truly Magical vacation.

Special Offers for Canadian residents have been known to be released from time to time, especially for specially priced Theme Park Tickets. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen any discounts for Canadians since 2020. That doesn’t mean that they won’t come back at some point! My advice to you would be to keep an eye on the Special Offers page as well as the Disney Parks Blog for more information. The Blog really does have up-to-the-minute information for all Disney Destinations, so it’s a great research resource. Even if there isn’t an offer dedicated exclusively for visitors from Canada, there may be other discounts or promotions that you can apply to your vacation to help you enjoy a bit more Magic for less!

Finally, I don’t believe I’ve ever seen any official Disney promotions that are offered exclusively through an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner (that is, a travel agent) so you don’t need to book with one in order to take advantage of any discounts that may pop up. That said, especially if this is your first visit, it might really be a good idea for you to do business with a specialized Disney planner. Good agents can really help guide you towards choices that make the most sense for your family and help you really focus in on your options to design the perfect vacation.

I hope my answer helps you get a little further ahead in your Disney Parks research! Please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
