Hey there, Lori! Welcome back to planDisney - it's great to see you again! You've got a friend in me, and I'm here to share all the details you need so that your trip to
Walt Disney World Resort is smooth sailing. Let's get to it!
The
water transportation at Walt Disney World is perhaps my favorite way to travel. Heading to
Magic Kingdom Park by boat on a sunny morning is such a great way to start the day, and cruising across Seven Seas Lagoon after a long day is a lovely wind-down after the hustle and bustle of the park!
After parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center, head to the Magic Kingdom Ferryboat launch. These iconic beauties have wide loading docks, and you should be able to drive your ECV right onto the boat. Then you can sit back and take in the sights before arriving at the dock directly in front of the Magic Kingdom.
Lori, you'll actually find that nearly all of the Walt Disney World boats can accommodate your ECV. This includes the smaller water taxis that service the resorts on Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake, and the FriendShip Boats that sail between
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and the resorts in that area. The configurations of the specific boats and the water levels may impact this, but rest assured that the Cast Members will do everything they can to get you where you need to go!
I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes, Lori! As you're getting all of your (Daisy) ducks in a row for your November trip, please come see us again at planDisney anytime if we can help with additional questions.
See Ya Real Soon!
