Ahoy, Caroline!
First, I'd like to say how sorry I am to hear about your recent loss. I'm happy to hear you and your kids have a Disney Cruise Line vacation to look forward to, where you'll be making memories as you enjoy time together as a family. I hope that your vacation getaway brings joy to all of you at this difficult time.
When it come to the ultimate in relaxation, look no further than
Senses Spa and Salon on the Disney Dream. With lots of amazing treatments to choose from, there's so many ways to relax and pamper yourself at sea. Whether you're interested in a massage, a rejuvenating facial, or spending time in the Rainforest Room, you'll have plenty of options to find a moment of bliss at the spa.
The
Youth Clubs on the ship typically open at 9:00am on "at sea" days on the ship, and have varying opening hours on days when you visit ports. You won't need to book times for your kids to visit the clubs, as they can be dropped off at any time, and stay as long as they like. My kids have grown up visiting the Disney Cruise Line Youth Clubs, and I've always been very impressed with the highly-trained Youth Counselors. The clubs give adults a chance to explore the ship on their own, knowing their kids are safe and being cared for and entertained by the awesome staff.
My advice would be to book your spa appointment on an "at sea" day, or on a port visit day where you're planning to stay on the ship. Booking your spa treatment at 10:00am or later would guarantee that the Youth Club would be open and available for your kids to enjoy. I hope you're able to find the perfect spa treatment to pamper yourself, and have a little "me" time - you deserve it!
I hope this helps with your planning. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
