I'm reading some conflicting info. If we go to a character meal, other than CRT, how many credits would be used on the meal plan? Chef Mickey 1 or 2 credits? Thanks!

    Hi Stephanie,

Character dining at Walt Disney World Resort is definitely on the top of my must do list every time we visit! I just love looking around the room at all of the children (and adults as well) with their autograph books, anticipating the next character visit to their table.  I have great news, with the exception of Cinderella's Royal Table and Mickey's Backyard BBQ, all character dining options count as one Table-Service redemption.  My family and I ate at Chef Mickey's last week and it was definitely one Table-Service credit.

Keep in mind, when you dine at Cinderella's Royal Table a photo package, as well as gratuities are included.  There are also many other magical surprises (which I won't spoil) that make this dining experience special.  At Mickey's Backyard BBQ there is live entertainment and the characters dance with the children at certain points during the evening.  Gratuities are included, as well as a selection of alcoholic beverages for the adults.

Here is a list of all participating restaurants on the Disney Dining Plan and the amount of Table-Service credits that are required for each restaurant.

Thanks for visiting the moms panel Stephanie, have a wonderful meal with Mickey and the Gang!
